Our iconic design exudes quiet elegance, with a subtle combination of leathers: Socoa Taurillon for the body and Baranil for the handles and the belt. Both these exquisite leathers will develop a patina over time.
Although the bag has a seemingly open design, it closes with a magnetic fastening to ensure your privacy. It has a zip and a flat pocket on one side, with two flat pockets on the other.

This version of Le Renard is made in Socoa Taurillon and Baranil, two premium leathers with a soft feel. Socoa Taurillon leather has a soft, waxy feel, while Baranil leather has a smooth texture and a lustrous look.

Crafted with precision
When glueing two pieces of leather together, such as the two pieces which form the belt for Le Renard, one piece tends to be wider, while the other one is the right size. Then it's time to trim off the excess to create the perfect width. This is often done using scissors; their precision is inversely proportional to their size. In the hands of an expert leatherworker, they ensure astonishing accuracy – to within a quarter of a millimetre!
