Given that the products on sale on Atelier Renard’s website are mostly unique products and/or made to order, we do not accept any returns by default other than those due to a major and obvious manufacturing defect or related to the cooling-off period in the European Union. The same time period of 14 days applies for both of these returns. This means that you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

However, a return will not be accepted if the purchased item has been personalised in such a way that it would be unsuitable for sale to another customer (e.g. initials have been added).

Please note that under all circumstances, to be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it, unworn or unused, in its original packaging. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

To return an item, contact us at the following address: contact@atelierrenard.com. Please note that returns must be sent to the following address: Atelier Renard - 3, place du Palais Bourbon, 75007 Paris, France. 

If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, along with instructions on how and where to send your parcel. Items which are returned without a prior request for return will not be accepted. You will find more information about our shipping policy in our Terms of Sale.

Returns in the event of damage or other issues
Please inspect your order when you receive it and contact us immediately if the item is faulty, damaged or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can investigate and remedy the issue.

14-day cooling-off period in the European Union
If the product is shipped in the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within a period of 14 days, for any reason whatsoever and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it, unworn or unused, in its original packaging. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase. Please note that this clause does not apply if the purchased item has been personalised in such a way that it would be unsuitable for sale to another customer (e.g. initials have been added). 

Exceptions and non-returnable items
Some types of items cannot be returned, such as unique products, products made to order and custom-made products (including special orders and personalised items). Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about a specific item.
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns of promotional items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The quickest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have and, once the return has been accepted, make a separate purchase for a new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and we will let you know whether or not the refund has been approved. If the refund is approved, your original payment method will be refunded automatically within 10 business days. Please remember that the processing and notification of the refund by your bank or credit card company may take some time.
